Here is an example of one of our personification stories. Open the link and press the show button to view. Students were able to personify an object and write a story as part of an online book or animated adventure.
Students were expected to choose a historical event from one of the following: the Bubonic Plague, the London Fire, or the Industrial Revolution. Then, they were instructed to identify the key events and discuss the ways in which factors such as class or gender would influence a historical narrative.
