Choose any of the following tasks which will earn you one KMS Bacc Knowledge point.

10.1 Music Research

Research the background of The Manic Street Preachers. Include album research which contain's Everything Must Go. 

10.1 Music Go

Attend a live music concert and write a review of one of the performances using the GCSE performance grade descriptors. Give feedback in the form of WWW/EBI. It may be helpful to take an audio recording for your to refer to after the event.

10.1 Music Create

Create a composing plan including bar numbers for a 64 bar composition. The plan should include Key, instrumentation, time signature, any modulations you wish to make and include phrasing points. You may wish to include a short original melodic motif also.

10.1 Music Play

Submit a practise diary for one week outlining specific practise points that you have been given by your intrumental or class teacher. You should explain how the practise schedule has helped you to improve and the progress that you have made. Include a starting point video and an end point video so you can see the progress yourself.

10.2 Music Listen

Listen to the other movements of the Peer Gynt Suite by Grieg. You should write notes about the pieces using MAD TSHIRT

Choose the following task which will earn you three KMS Bacc Knowledge points.

10.3 Music Rise Above the Rest

Prepare a music performance for a solo performance or a competition. You should get some feedback throughout your preparation. After the event discuss your performance with your class teacher to see if there are areas which you can use to enhance your performance.

10.3 Music Take Part

Take part in a music workshop that lasts at least 2 days. After the event produce a reflection document on what you learnt at the event.
