Dear Delegates, Directors, and Faculty advisors,
Dear Delegates and Esteemed Faculty Advisors,
It is with great honour and enthusiasm that I extend a warm welcome to the sixth edition of the King’s College India Model United Nations (KCIMUN) 2025, scheduled to take place from Friday, October 10th to Sunday, October 12th, 2025, at King’s College India in Rohtak, Haryana.
I am Nivedh Bansal, currently the Head Boy at King’s College India, concentrating on medicine and pursuing an interdisciplinary degree within the sciences. Having grown up in Rohtak, I am deeply connected to this community and am privileged to serve as your Secretary-General for this year’s conference.
My journey with Model United Nations began at KCIMUN 2021, where I participated as a UN Security Council committee delegate. Subsequent experiences at conferences, such as Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) India, and the Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN) have further deepened my appreciation for the art of diplomacy and the significance of global discourse.
KCIMUN distinguishes itself as a premier Model UN conference in the Rohtak region, renowned for its commitment to fostering rigorous debate and cultivating leadership among participants. Delegates from diverse backgrounds will convene to deliberate on pressing global issues, striving to formulate actionable solutions that embody the principles of diplomacy and collaboration.
Beyond committee sessions, KCIMUN offers enriching experiences through initiatives like the Leadership Forums and University fairs, designed to empower delegates to explore their potential and develop essential leadership skills.
Furthermore, the Impact Initiative provides a platform for participants to translate their ideas into tangible actions, fostering real-world change and community engagement.
As we embark on this transformative journey together, I encourage each of you to engage wholeheartedly, challenge perspectives, and embrace the opportunity to grow intellectually and personally.
On behalf of the Secretariat and the KCIMUN 2025 team, we eagerly await your participation and look forward to an inspiring and impactful conference.
Warm regards,
Nivedh Bansal
