Shadow/Coteach class leading two to three parts of class: usually this will be stretch routine, body isoloations, and motor skills

Shadow/coteach Three - Lead 3/4 of a class with assistance from an experienced Kindermotion teacher

Record and upload a video of yourself leading the stretch routine and body isolations from Kinderdance 1 - (your mentor can record this during a co-teaching/shadowing opportunity)  the Shared by Team folder  or (if not able to shadow) record in your own space - as if you were leading a group of children.

Meet with director to review first class procedures for assigned schools and additional Kindermotions and Dance programs to learn (Kindertots, Kindergym, KDCombo, Kindermotion)

Review how to take attendance and send student notes in dance studio pro. *please submit a comment in the loom platform when completed.

Student Forms to become familiar with before your first class.  Class Forms  For preschool age classes you will send home "my first dance class" any time you have a new student. Keep a couple of Class Trial forms in your teaching binder.

 Prepare for your First Class!  Organize your props and teaching supplies. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your class to have time to go inside and get organized. Introduce yourself to the director. Ask for help for the first class in locating your students

Have Fun!!! Remember, your first class will set the tone for how you go forward. Follow the routine of the class but ake time to set your expectations. Keep the class light and engaging and don't worry about getting it all in.

Take attendance, send your notes, submit your time.

To be completed over the next month -
