Yearbook Club

Still looking for more volunteers to help create the best ever KAEC Yearbook! We need photographers, designers, and lots of help with the computer program that Lifetouch provides us with. The whole yearbook is digitally designed on their website. Come out and share your artistic skills and learn how to use a new computer program. You can add these skills to your resumes! We meet twice a month with Laura, the Rec Therapist.

Anime Club

Meetings are held every Tuesday during lunch in Mrs. Petrie’s classroom. During this time there are discussions regarding fundraising for fieldtrips, which includes making and designing posters, event ideas, etc. Please bring your lunch if you are interested in being/becoming a member.

Note: Anime Club members are welcome to cosplay at fundraising events and when discussed during meetings.

Boardgame Club

Meetings are held everyday from 11:45 to 12:15 in Mr. Baughman’s classroom. Bring your lunch and ideas for games you want to play! We are also fundraising by selling 1L pop, ice tea, and lemonade.

Woodworking Club

The wood working club runs as a ‘drop in’ system, so students that have not attended before, may join at any point in time by staying and participating after school. Meets and activities are every Wednesday from 3:30pm to 5pm. Please ensure that you have a ride home arranged beforehand, thank you. If there are any questions or concerns, contact Mr. Paul.

Karaoke Club

Most of us who have enough courage to sing out loud in front of a crowd during karaoke events know how much fun it can be. While karaoke singing may not be the best for our ears, it does offer many benefits to the person singing and to you. Such as the building of self-confidence, a stress reliever, it lets you socialize, and most importantly it is very fun!

On occasion, Karaoke sessions are also conducted during woodworking club, to confirm information contact Mr. Paul.

Sewing Club

The sewing club provides students with access to resource materials and sewing equipment, Wednesdays after school from 4pm-6pm. It is open to ALL students and is not limited to those enrolled in fashion courses. However, students can continue their projects from class or start a new one. If there are any questions, please refer to the Fashions instructor, Verna.

Beading Club

Beading club will begin January 22nd, after school from 3:30-4:30pm. Students can come and enjoy a social beading hour, every Monday until further notice. If there are any questions, please contact Kim M.
