Social Studies Q1
This quarter in social studies we've learned about the colonization of the Americas. We learned about Columbus and how he killed and enslaved the native americans, the Mayflower and how they started a colonie, and the further creation of how America is today.

Title of Project: Middle Colonies
Description of Project: For this project we were given a region of the 13 colonies that we had to research and turn in to a slide show to present to the class.
Course: Social Studies
Teacher: Ms. Sherman
Section: 8B
When researching for this project I learned lots of stuff abut the Middle Colonies ad how it was in the 1600s.
If I could redo this project I would have gotten everyone to write more about their subjects and have a more organized presentation.
This project was good at creating a real-world-like environment for creating a presentation.
21st Century Skills
Information Skills - We had to research almost all the information and make sure it was correct.
Communication Skills - We had to present our slide show to the class
Interpersonal Skills - I was the leader of the group and had to actively make sure everyone was doing their work.
Self-Directed Skills - I finished the project myself over the weekend so that it would be ready for Monday
