Sixth Form Options

Students should explore A Levels which are an advanced level of study following on from GCSE's.

Entry requirements are usually predicted GCSE grades 5/6's, and for the A level subjects chosen they will need a grade 6 if studied at GCSE. A Level Math requirement can be a grade 7 entry. It is important to check each sixth form provider for their entry requirements as some offer a points system

Our sister school Debden Park High School in Loughton provides an excellent sixth form provision for our students as part of Kemnal Academy Trust. Students are offered the opportunity to visit the sixth form, take part in A Level Taster days and get a feel of what it would be like to study at the Hive, Debden Park Sixth form. open evening date will be on Thursday 21st November 2024 from 4..30 pm to 6.30 pm.

The Open day event takes place in November each year and students are encouraged to visit and look round the sixth form site. Deadline date for applications is usually at the end of January. www.debdenparkhighschool.org
