Mindfulness Sessions for Y13
In this course you will engage in a series of challenges designed to increase your own happiness and build more productive habits. As preparation for these tasks, Professor Laurie Santos reveals misconceptions about happiness, annoying features of the mind that lead us to think the way we do, and the research that can help us change. You will ultimately be prepared to successfully incorporate a specific wellness activity into your life.

Wellbeing at Uni: 7 tips for before and during Uni
Going to University is an exciting time, but it can also be a nerve-wracking time. You may be asking yourself one or more of the following questions….Will I make new friends? Will my course be too hard? Can I reinvent myself? Will I have to cook for myself? Will I miss my family? What will I do if I hate it? And many more!
This will be a 20-30 minute lecture-style session, followed by time for Q&A where Ms Barton will share some advice based on her personal experiences.
