Mr. Work has over 30 years of experience working in politics, media, events, and community building. This has led to his founding and stewardship of prestigious organisations through senior leadership and general management roles over the last decade. Mr Work is currently the Executive Director of the Self Storage Association Asia, representing and connecting this growing and thriving sector leading the real estate industry by providing lifestyle and business solutions for the 21st century. He is sought after for commentary in business, economics, technology, innovation and politics on matters concerning Hong Kong, Canada, and, more broadly, Asia. His recent work in fintech, blockchain, cryptocurrency and an integrated approach to all the above sectors sees him asked to present in media, in written commentary and on-stage wherever insight is needed.
Details: In this workshop, Mr. Work will talk about the impacts and response on Hong Kong Economy brought by the COVID-19.

Speaker: Henry Wong
Mr. Wong was graduated from the University of Hong Kong, is the founder of AI Academy, a company providing artificial intelligence and technology training and solutions to schools and corporates. He owns a Guinness World Record in fastest robotic fish.
Details: In this workshop, students will be introduced to the general concept of artificial intelligence and how it is being used in academia and industry. The students will have hands-on exercise and learn to use deep learning to compose one image in the style of another image, known as neural style transfer.
Y13 students from Discovery College are currently participating in a range of webinars and online learning experiences that are mostly being coordinated by our HEO team. LGBTQI+ Pride group (with teacher Luc Di Gregorio) are hosting one of the events.
The event is titled Pride After High School and they plan on facilitating a discussion around LGBTQI+ topics that centre around this next step of moving into life after high school. While the target audience is Y13, they would be more than happy to open it up to other age groups if their schedules allow.

This engaging and interactive session - Sharpen Your Human Edge - draws upon the latest psychological and neuroscience research into human peak performance.
It will help parents and professionals succeed in a world being transformed by artificial intelligence, new generations and COVID-19. This session is based on the research in Greg’s latest book The Human Edge, how curiosity and creativity are your superpowers in the digital economy (Pearson, 2019) which was named as the Business Book of The Year 2020.
