This list will be updated at the end of Quarter 1, Semester 1, and Quarter 3. It will be used to calculate academic awards at the end of the school year.
Requirements for Honor Roll & Academic Awards:
HIGH HONOR, HONOR, MERIT ROLL REQUIREMENTS (based on weighted grades)
HIGH HONOR ROLL: A student who earns a 4.0 cumulative GPA at the end of each grading period.
HONOR ROLL: A student who earns a cumulative GPA of 3.5-3.99 at the end of each grading period.
MERIT ROLL: A student who earns a cumulative GPA of 3.00-3.49 at the end of each grading period.
Please note: CCP students are responsible for sending their counselor a screenshot of their canvas homepage if they would like to be considered for the honor roll at the end of each grading period.
At the conclusion of each school year, Keystone High School hosts an Awards Day assembly. The following awards are presented:
FIRST YEAR ACADEMIC AWARD:
The first year award is given to those students who have demonstrated a commitment to academics by being on the Merit, Honor, or High Honor Roll, with a 3.0 grade point average or above, for each of the first three quarters of the school year.
SECOND, THIRD, AND FOURTH YEAR ACADEMIC AWARD:
The second, third, and fourth year award is given to those students who have maintained their grade point average by being on the Merit, Honor, or High Honor Roll for the first three quarters for two, three, and/or four of their high school years.
Awards are based solely on the achievements made by students while enrolled at Keystone. Transfer students will be awarded based on their number of years at KHS for academic awards. Full-time LCJVS students will be recognized at the LCJVS senior recognition for their academic accomplishments.
