Interested in participating in College Credit Plus next school year? Follow these 6 simple steps and you'll be all set!
1) Informational meeting - NEW CCP students
*These in-person sessions cover admission requirements, benefits & cautions, and next steps to get started. If you are unable to attend, make sure to talk with your counselor.
*KHS will host a session on January 29, 2025 at 6 PM.
*LCCC will be holding additional sessions on the dates listed (when available). Register Here (if link is available)!
3/4/26 – 6 p.m. – University Partnership Ridge Campus
3/4/26 – 6 p.m. - Lorain City Center
3/5/26 – 6 p.m. – Main Campus
3/19/26 – 6 p.m. - LCCC Wellington Center
2) Apply - NEW CCP students
*Complete the online LCCC Application.
*See this Application Tutorial for help or questions about the application.
*If you plan on participating in placement testing at KHS, your application must be turned in by Friday, February 20.
3) Intent to Participate Form - ALL CCP students
*The CCP Intent to Participate Form can be completed on FinalForms. This must be completed by April 1, 2025.
*Must be completed each school year or you cannot take CCP classes the following semester.
4) Placement Testing
*You may be required to take placement testing to enroll. Contact the LCCC Testing & Assessment Center for more info.
*504 & IEP students - you are responsible for contacting the LCCC Accessibility Services Office to get your accommodations approved for placement testing & classes. See the LCCC Accommodations Process for IEP & 504 Students flyer for more information.
*If we are able to offer on-site placement testing, it will only be for students requesting KHS-based CCP classes in the upcoming school year.
5) Counselor Meeting
*If you are planning on taking any off-site/online CCP classes (as in not offered at Keystone High School) next school year, complete the Off-site advising form. Your counselor will meet with you in March to discuss classes and complete your authorization form.
*If the form is not accepting responses, please email your counselor.
6) Schedule - only if you plan on taking LCCC classes outside of KHS
*We will have an onsite scheduling day April 2nd. These spots will be first come first served. If you are not able to secure a spot, you will have to contact an LCCC academic advisor to schedule your classes.

College Credit Plus Probation & Dismissal
Students who underperform in CCP classes may be subject to probation and/or dismissal from the program. Students & parents will be notified of any probation or dismissal status by their school counselor. See the links below for more information.
