Decodable Text - Ask your child’s teacher to show you what decodable reading tools they use and what you have access to at home.
Practice reading decodable AND picture books together - at least 15 minutes each day.
Play Different Reading Games with your child 2 to 3 times a week. Even as they become readers themselves!
Visit the Library and let kids choose their own texts, get a library card if you don’t already have one.
