The teachers of the World Language department at RHS pride themselves in working closely to help students succeed and thrive in their classes. It is through to this collaboration, that grading policies, assignments and projects are built to ensure the curriculum meets state standards and uphold the school's P.A.C.K culture.
Interesting facts about the department:
More than half of the teachers have their Master Degree in Spanish or in Education.
Teaching experience varies from 3 to 27 years in the classroom; this makes the collaboration process vital for everyone in the department; veteran teachers keep abreast of new pedagogical strategies and newer teachers learn true and tested practices as well.
Teachers work closely to develop rigorous and equitable activities of high quality for every student in the classroom to create a vertical and lateral alignment with mirror like activities in every level. As a result of this collaborative effort, if a student has a schedule change, the student will receive the same expectations and rigor regardless of their new teacher.
