Program has an active advisory committee

Program advisory committee is well represented with community, industry, and reflective of the diversity of the school community 

Advisory committee is engaged with program students .

ADVISORY COMMITTEE:

Ofc. Dan Manriques - Sgt. Major USMC  Ret., FSO Deputy Ret., Clovis Unified School District Police Department.

Sgt. Nathan Center - Sergeant, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation 

Lt. Wil Barcoma - Lieutenant Kerman Police Department

Ofc. Joe Acosta - Mendota Police Department

Phil Suson - Sergeant, Kerman Police Department Ret., Teacher CTE/ ROP Public Safety Pathway Ret.

KHS advisory committee meets in the fall and spring conferences. Usually held at different venues, such as Clovis Veteran hall and Clovis North HS. Along with conferences we hold individual advisor meetings with minutes. 

We continue to work with local law enforcement agencies for different opportunities for student involvement. The students participate in our local "Harvest Festival", "AG Day" and several parades throughout the year.
