Student Technology Information

Infinite Campus

Parents:
Parents/guardians should log on to Infinite Campus using the parent portal. This account allows you your own account with your own password. The student then has his or her own account with their own username and password. This provides separate accounts and passwords which are needed for checking grades, scheduling classes, participating in surveys etc. This also allows you to view all students that you have with one login.

Don't have a parent portal account?  Please visit or email a school one of your children attend to receive a 32 digit activation key.

• Your full name

• Campus portal user name

• Child's name

• Child's school

• Description of issue

You will receive a response in 1-2 business days.

Parent portal assistance is available through email only.  No phone support.

Students:
Allows students to view only their own information to check grades and take surveys.
If this is your first time logging onto Infinite Campus, the username is Student ID(this can be obtained from your school) your password is the student's first name initial, last name initial followed by birth date using a 6 digit number: for example Jim Smith born on May 6, 1999 would have a password of js050699.   Upon initial login you will be told you have been flagged for a password change. The "old" password it is asking for is the initials and birth date password that you just entered.

Schoology

Schoology (pronounced: Skool'uh-jee) is our district's learning management system (LMS) primarily used within the classroom.  Schoology was chosen by a committee of educators, administrators, curriculum staff, and technology staff members.

Why Schoology?
With the movement of KCSD towards 1:1, Schoology offers our students and staff a platform for collaboration, communication, organization, discussions, as well as a place to submit and provide feedback on assignments.  Students will be able to access their school work anywhere at any time.  Schoology will house the day to day work, while final grades will remain housed in Infinite Campus. 

Schoology is not just for students and teachers; it is also for parents. With your parental account, you will be able to view your child's activities, courses, calendar, updates and groups. This will connect you directly to your child's learning. 

Creating my parental account.
To create your Schoology account, follow the steps laid out in the flyer below.  You will also need your Parent Access Code to connect to your child's account.  The Parent Access Code was sent home with all students on TBA.  If you need another access code, please contact the main office.

This is a new program used by Math teachers here at Twenhofel.  Student’s can access their Math content by following the directions below:

Go to the Kenton County School District Webpage, 

Hover over Students & Families,

Click on Technology Logins,
