Day 12: Scavenger Hunt
Emoji Scavenger Hunt

Locate the emoji we show you in the real world with your phone’s camera. A neural network will try to guess what it’s seeing.
Make sure your sound is on.
For today, there is no slide deck of new learning, but rather APPLYING your learning from the past 11 days through a photo Scavenger Hunt. Here is how this will work:
There are 12 different prompts, each in a different column (there have been 12 days of EdTech Cheer after all!).
For each prompt, take a picture in your school (no students in photos please!), neighborhood, community, or nature and share in the appropriate column. The goal is to see authentic examples in OUR world, not from pictures found online.
The purpose of the Scavenger Hunt is to take time to look at our schools, neighborhoods, communities, and nature to draw parallels with how to approach human and artificial intelligence. Our world around us can (and should!) inspire humans to be resourceful and leverage technology rather than refuse to adapt.
For our photo Scavenger Hunt, we will be using Padlet to gather our photos. The great thing about Padlet is that participants can join the Padlet board for FREE and be able to see the submissions of others as well as post your own. You will need to create a Padlet account to be able to view and post. You are encouraged to "❤️" or comment on the posts of others!
Below are a few resources to help you get started with Padlet if it is a new tool for you.
