A monument to commemorate Cincinnati's steamboat history. At its center is a large paddlewheel that is a replica of the steamboat The American Queen. Around the paddlewheel at its base are twenty-four stainless steel towers that were designed to be reminiscent of smokestacks. Created by Christopher Janney an architect noted for his creation of sound sculptures. This Monument was unveiled at Sawyer Point in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2002.
