Students and families can cut out and design their own bookmarks while discussing digital media learning tips like interacting together, asking questions, and choosing appropriate content. Children can write their own internet tips or draw their favorite book characters on the blank side.

Activity: Netiquette Game

Age Range: Grades 4-8 Cost: <$25

Suggested Use:

In-house use or as a passive program in the children’s room
Printed and laminated for take-home kits

This reproducible game can be used to help children visualize and practice their internet smarts. Simply print out and laminate the game board, pieces, and directions. If you can, treat this activity as guided play, popping in periodically or at the end to ask questions to help participants frame and reflect on the experience.
