Course Objectives: Students will examine the field of physical science as a scientific discipline, to include demonstrating an understanding of the importance of physical science for studying the natural world. Students will demonstrate knowledge regarding the nature of science and scientific methods of inquiry, as well as develop critical thinking skills. Students will demonstrate knowledge of various aspects of physical science, to include motion and forces, energy, waves, matter, reactions, and the applications of physical science in today's world.

Grading: Grades will be assessed and calculated as follows:
65% Exams, Quizzes, and Special Assignments/Projects
35% Daily Work, Homework, and Class Participation
End of Semester Exam accounts for 10% of the Semester Grade
Class Expectations:
Attend school on a regular basis and report to class on time.
Be prepared for class, to include bringing your Chromebook, earbuds, pen/pencil, etc.
Upon entering the classroom, sit at your assigned desk unless directed to do otherwise.
Remain seated at your assigned desk unless permission is granted to do otherwise.
Ensure your cell phone is put away, and do not use a cell phone without permission.
Raise your hand if you have a question and/or want to be recognized by the teacher.
Exhibit respect for yourself, your classmates, staff members, and others.
Comply with reasonable requests and directives, to include remaining on task.
Contact the teacher regarding any make-up work and/or make-up quizzes/exams.
