As stated in the ‘Kennett High School Career and Educational Planning Guide,' "Science is evident in all aspects of our lives. Our houses, clothing, jobs, and leisure time have been modified by the scientific discoveries and inventions of the past decades. People cannot consider themselves educated in today’s world unless they are capable of understanding and appreciating the concepts of modern science. The need for understanding and applying the scientific method to solve human problems is paramount."
