What We Do
Hilander Theatre produces five major events each year:
Fall Play – A fully staged production open to all students through audition.
Autumn Showcase – A curated performance of student work from our Beginning and Advanced Theatre classes.
Winter Show – A production created and cast exclusively from the Advanced Theatre class.
Spring Musical – A full-scale musical production involving actors, vocalists, dancers, and technical crew.
Extreme Theatre – A 24-hour playwriting, producing, and performance challenge open to all theatre students.
In addition to these major productions, we also organize a variety of educational and community-based events including our Youth Theatre Camp held each summer, field trips to theatrical productions at Lower Columbia College, and monthly Theatre Club meetings, which take place on the first or second Tuesday of every month.
