Brad Halloran was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, but didn’t start playing Euphonium until 5th grade in Gillette, Wyoming. A four-year all-stater, Brad also performed with the Western International Band Conference and the Wyoming All State Marching Band. Brad got his Bachelors in Euphonium Performance from the University of North Texas. He studied under Dr. Brian Bowman and Dr. David Childs. During his undergrad, he also won 2nd place in the South Central Regional Tuba Euphonium Conference (SCRTEC) and 2nd place in the International Tuba Euphonium Conference (ITEC). Both were with the SuperNova Euphonium Quartet.
Brad got his Masters in Euphonium Performance also from UNT, with a focus on Wind Conducting. He studied under Dr. David Childs and played with the UNT Wind Symphony. During this time, he was also a finalist for a Regional Navy Band audition. Now, Brad teaches all over the DFW area. He helps students with region etudes, marching shows, UIL music, and Euphonium Fundamentals.
