Welcome to the SGES Library page! I am SO excited to be back for my sixth year as the Shady Grove librarian! I have taught elementary school for over twenty years, and although I enjoyed being a classroom teacher, the library is indeed my "happy place" . . . I taught in Kansas, Birdville ISD, and at Park Glen Elementary in KISD before coming to The Grove. I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Wichita State University and a Masters in Library and Information Science from UNT. My husband and I met when we both lived in my home state of Kansas. Dan has his private pilot's license and designs aircraft at work AND at home. We have two Keller ISD graduates who are both in college. I am a firm believer in the importance of life-long learning, and when it comes to what you can learn in the library? Well, "the sky's the limit!" Please let me know how to help YOU learn and grow.

"The Grove Reads" and the library is awesome!
Each class comes to the library weekly.
We have open check out times though and students can always return and/or check out when needed.
I know how it feels to "need" a new book to read!
