Install Read&Write
1. Go to "Self Service" and install "Read&Write for iPad". (The iPad I was using was on the Onboard wifi.)
2. Click the app icon after it downloads and click "Start setup wizard" (green box with an arrow)
Setup Wizard instructions
1. Enable Keyboard. There was a video which was helpful. It said to go to "Settings" and click on "General".
2. Click on "Keyboard". Click the right arrow. At the top, click "Keyboards" and then "Add New Keyboard". Read&Write Keyboard should appear as an option.
3. Click it and then toggle the switch for "Allow Full Access". Should turn green.
Register should appear next.
1. Click the "Yes" button.
2. Click "Sign In" and then "Sign in with Google" (red button).
3. Enter your KISD email and password.
4. The next screen should be Read&Write with some options that can be customized for each student.
Using Read&Write
1. When the keyboard is pulled up, you need to click the globe icon in the bottom left. That will open the Read&Write keyboard.
2. I played with it in Google Docs and Slides and it seemed like it was working!

The current solution is to reset the iPad if the Self Service does not work and then sign the student into KellerISD wifi if they are in person learners.
Cases have been ordered and are expected to arrive in November.
This is a campus by campus decision. Remote learners in the Ridge Feeder pattern have been asked to trade in their chromebooks for the new iPads.

Yes, some Chromebooks need to be updated in order for some of the applications to work.
You can powerwash the Chromebook by ESC+Refresh+Power. Then Ctrl + D. If that does not work, put in a tech ticket.
