エリック・M・ホワイト / Eric M. White

プリンストン大学図書館貴重書部門副館長　兼　シャイデ図書館長。サザンメソジスト大学のブリッドウェル図書館（Bridwell Library）で特殊コレクションのキュレーターを18年間務めた後、2015年にプリンストン大学図書館の稀覯本キュレーターに就任しました。ヨーロッパ初期刊本を専門とし、貴重書に関する数多くの論文や展覧会カタログを出版しています。2018年には、主著Editio princeps: A History of the Gutenberg Bible (Harvey Miller, 2017) により、国際著作・読書・出版史学会（SHARP: Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing）からデロング書物史賞を受賞しました。

Eric White, Ph.D., became Curator of Rare Books at Princeton University Library in 2015 after eighteen years as Curator of Special Collections at Southern Methodist University’s Bridwell Library. A specialist in early European printing, he has published numerous articles and exhibition catalogues on rare books. He won the DeLong Book History Prize from the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing (SHARP) on July 12, 2018 for Editio princeps: A History of the Gutenberg Bible,” from Harvey Miller Publishers (2017).

パメラ・パットン /  Pamela Patton 

プリンストン大学美術・考古学学部教授。中世スペインとその周辺地域における視覚文化を専門とし、多民族からなるイベリア半島のコミュニティにおける文化的アイデンティティや社会のダイナミクスを明確にする上での図像の役割に焦点を当てています。サザンメソジスト大学で美術史の教授および主任を務めた後、2015年にプリンストン大学に着任しました。主著に、Pictorial Narrative in the Romanesque Cloister (Peter Lang, 2004)、2014年のエレノア・タフツ賞を受賞したArt of Estrangement: Redefining Jews in Reconquest Spain (Penn State University Press, 2012)、編著書Envisioning Others: Race, Color, and the Visual in Iberia and Latin America (Brill, 2016）などがあります。

Director, The Index of Medieval Art, Department of Art & Archaeology, Princeton University. Pamela Patton, Ph.D., is a specialist in the visual culture of medieval Spain and its environs, focusing on the role of imagery in articulating cultural identity among the multiethnic Iberian communities. She joined Princeton University in 2015, having previously served as professor and chair of art history at Southern Methodist University. She has published two monographs: Pictorial Narrative in the Romanesque Cloister (Peter Lang, 2004) and Art of Estrangement: Redefining Jews in Reconquest Spain (Penn State University Press, 2012), the latter won the 2014 Eleanor Tufts Book Award. She has published several edited volumes, including Envisioning Others: Race, Color, and the Visual in Iberia and Latin America (2016).

池田真弓 / Mayumi Ikeda 

慶應義塾大学理工学部外国語・総合教育教室准教授。15世紀ヨーロッパの写本や印刷本の装飾や挿絵、色彩などの視覚的要素の役割と発展について研究しています。活版印刷術の発明が、本の「見た目」にもたらした変化と、現代の我々が認知するような本の形状が確立していく過程に関心があります。 15世紀の本に用いられている色彩や顔料、インクの素材にも興味があります。 また、デジタル技術を応用した美術史・書誌学の研究にも取り組んでいます。

Associate Professor, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University. My research examines the roles and development of visual elements including decoration, illustration and colours of manuscripts and printed books produced in fifteenth-century Europe. I aim to understand the impact of the invention of typography in creating new visual vocabularies of the book, some of which have survived to this day. My recent interests include colours, pigments and inks used in fifteenth-century books. I am also interested in employing digital technology for my research.

徳永聡子 / Satoko Tokunaga

慶應義塾大学文学部教授。中世後期イングランドにおける書物文化について研究を進めています 。主な編著書に Production and provenance : copy-specific features of incunabula (Brill, 2025)、Caxton's Golden Legend (Published for Early English Text Society by the Oxford University Press, 2020-)、『出版文化史の東西：原本を読む楽しみ』（慶應義塾大学出版会, 2015）などがあります。

安形麻理 / Mari Agata 

慶應義塾大学文学部教授。西洋の初期の活版印刷術、グーテンベルク聖書を中心とするインキュナブラ（初期刊本）、写本と初期刊本の関係、書物に対する考え方や読書様式の変化を主な研究の関心としています。デジタル画像を用いたグーテンベルク聖書の研究を継続して行っており、現存諸本間の異同を分析したり、特に最近は活字の形の分析から最初期の鋳造手法の解明に取り組んでおり、伝統的な書誌学の方法とデジタル分析手法の融合を探求しています。

Professor, Faculty of Letters, Keio University. My primary research interests include early printing books in Europe, with a focus on the Gutenberg Bible, the transition from manuscripts to printed books, and changes in the perception of books and reading practices. I have been studying the Gutenberg Bible using digital images, revealing the variants among the extant copies. More recently, I have been working on the earliest type casting methods by analyzing the shapes of individual types. I seek to explore the fusion of traditional bibliographical methods with digital analysis techniques.
