1. Residence Card
Under the law in Japan, those who have been issued a residence card need to carry the card with them at all times.

4. Emergency Contact Form (also provided during the student orientation.)
The form has a list of emergency phone numbers along with useful Japanese expressions.
You will need to present your Student ID Card when you:
Take semester-end examinations
Purchase student commuter pass
Enter the university libraries
Request issuance of various certificates
Issue the Student Travel Fare Discount Certificate
If you lose your Student ID Card, you will be charged 2,000 yen for re-issuance.
Making a photocopy of your Student ID Card will be against Keio University's regulations.
Students can purchase a Student Commuter Pass (TSUGAKU TEIKI KEN) with a student discount.
How to obtain a Student Commuter Pass:
1. Obtain a hard copy of the “Student Commuter Certificate” from the following URL

In order for the Student Commuter Certificate to be available, you need to submit the "Residence Card Information Submission Form."
After submitting the form above, it will take several days for your certificate to be available.
2. Bring the following items with you and purchase the pass at the station office.

Student Commuter Certificate(#1 above)
If you travel a long distance via JR railways (more than 101 km one way), you are eligible for a 20% discount.
