6 Steps for Application

There are 6 steps in total. You must complete all steps to apply for the program.

Step 1: Student Profile 1

■ Use only English alphabet

■ Enter your name as listed at the bottom of your passport (e.g., P<JPNKEIO << ANNA)

■ If you do not have a name in Chinese characters, please leave the Chinese character section blank.

■ If you are a dual national and have Japanese nationality, please select "Japanese" as your nationality.

■ Select "University-wide"

Step 2: Student Profile 2

■ Include your current education and expected graduation date

■ Do not leave any gaps or periods unspecified/unaccounted for

Step 3: Proficiency in Japanese

■ If you apply for the JLP, all sections, including "History of Japanese Language Learning" must be completed.

Step 4: Upload Documents

■ Upload your application documents on this page.

■ All documents must be issued within 3 months before the submission.

■ If you have unsubmitted documents, please leave some comments in the "unsubmitted section" at the bottom of the page with the expected submission date.

Step 5: JASSO Scholarship

■ Select "Yes" or "No" in Q1.

■If you select "Yes", you must complete the following Q2 to Q6.

Step 6: Confirmation

■ Click "Submit" to complete your application to Keio University!
