NOTES FROM THE HEALTH OFFICE:

Welcome Back to School!

Reminders:

All kindergarten and new students to Simonds are required to submit a copy of a physical exam (dated within 1 year) and immunizations prior to the start of school. If you have not submitted this paperwork yet, please do so as soon as possible
If your child takes a daily medication, it needs to be dropped off in an original container with an order/letter from a physician.
Please inform me if your child has a health condition that may affect them at school.

Back-to-School Tips for FamiliesThere are many things you and your child can do to prepare for school that will make it an enjoyable experience for the whole family.

COVID is still out in the community. NH DHHS now defers to CDC general respiratory guidelines for COVID, flu, colds etc. Students may return to school if fever free for more than 24 hours without medication AND their symptoms have improved. As with other illnesses, students should stay home if persistent, they have disruptive coughing, fatigue that affects ability to participate in the classroom and/or if not eating and drinking well. At the end of September, free covid tests will be available to order for your household at https://www.covidtests.gov/
