Our Mission

The mission of the Kearny School District Preschool Program is to provide a high-quality, safe, and nurturing learning environment for all students. We focus on the whole child and ensure a developmentally appropriate program that includes social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Our preschool program applies best practices in early learning to help students become life-long learners. Through a play-based learning environment, our preschool students develop individuality, creativity, confidence, and resilience. Our program strives to create partnerships with families and encourages a love of learning and success for all students.

Monthly Lunch and Learn Virtual Parent Workshop

We invite our Preschool families to join our PIRS and CPIS team members during their lunch hour for an informative discussion focusing on a different topic each month!

Ready & Healthy for Kindergarten - Parent Program

Is your child entering Kindergarten in September?

Bilingual Latino families with a child who is entering Kindergarten in the fall are invited to apply for a FREE online summer program to engage in literacy activities with healthy themes such as nutrition, exercise, social and emotional learning and bedtime routines. 

Every child receives a backpack and 8 picture story books,  along with markers and a white board, and $75 worth of gift cards.  Information is provided in the flyer below.
