Early Childhood Advisory Council

The Kearny School District's Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC) is comprised of parents, educators, district administrators, medical experts, and community members whose mission is to support high quality preschool program implementation for the children and families of Kearny. 

Council members engage in thoughtful discussions aimed at supporting children and families as they navigate the first few years of formal schooling and to make recommendations that will enable children to become life-long learners. One of the responsibilities of the ECAC is to collect feedback from families of preschool students to help ensure our program is meeting their needs. Data is collected through needs assessment surveys and carefully analyzed by the district and program administrators to ensure concerns are addressed. The core of our Early Childhood Advisory Council is to work collaboratively in order to accomplish best possible outcomes for our youngest learners.
