Mrs. Connie Moon

Mrs. Moon began her orchestral teaching at Kearney Catholic in 2019. Her primary instrument in the violin, however she is an avid musician on any string instrument. She is the principal violinist for the Kearney Symphony Orchestra and also performs with the Hastings Symphony Orchestra. Mrs. Moon teaches private strings lessons throughout the Kearney Community and performs within multiple orchestras throughout the State. She is married and has children and grandchildren. 

Mrs. Moon conducts the 6th grade orchestra, 7th grade orchestra, and the 8th-12th grade orchestra. She enjoys seeing students continue to grow and learn on their string instruments and often times, will compose short selections for them to perform.  Students play a variety of music in the orchestra ensembles including, Irish jigs/reels, folk tunes, classical selections, film and movie selections, and Disney favorites.
