The Kispesti Deák Ferenc Secondary Grammar School can be found in the 19th district of Budapest, in the patinated Wekerle-side. The institution was founded in the year of 1919, therefore it has over 100 year-old history. Besides maintaining our traditions, we are continuously trying to develop into a modern, innovative school, thus it can be valuable and attractive for the young people.

It functions as a general secondary school specialized in media classes with for 4 academic years, foreign languages and science classes with 5 academic years. . Besides learning English and German, students have the opportunity to study other foreign languages such as French, Italian and Russian. Our main goal is to give an advanced level of language knowledge to our students and prepare them for their successful studies at universities inland and abroad as well.

Thanks to the European Union tender we managed to create a laboratory meeting the demands of the 21st century, which leads to the success of teaching and learning of science subjects.

Concerning education our main goal is maintaining and propagating European values to young people. Therefore, taking part in international mobilities of the Erasmus project in collaboration with other schools, organizing and conducting them is an outstanding opportunity and huge step for us.
