Teaching Philosophy
Snow
Mr. Charles- My classroom management is centered around consistency and supporting positive behavior and actions. I reward children who work hard and are trying to do things that are good for themselves and for others. And the biggest classroom management principle that I have is that of everyone being equal. No one gets special treatment unless it has to do with academic development concerns. This is because some kids progress in specific academic areas more quickly than others.
Tr. Ariel- 利用課程活動安排達到品德素養方面的教育,透過日常的引導和鼓勵,協助孩子們建立基本生活自理能力。
Star
Mr. Andrew- My classroom management style is gentle and supportive, with an emphasis on creating a warm and welcoming environment with lots of fun and laughter. I use simple routines and positive guidance to help children feel comfortable and confident in the classroom.
Tr. Janice- 從團體活動裡探索、學習啟發孩子自發獨立學習能力,與溝通合作關係。從中培養孩子獨立解決問題與思考能力。
Sunshine
Mr. Robert- I strive to teach our youngest learners how to develop successful listening skills through a process that includes clear expectations and negotiation techniques. Repeating instructions back to the teacher (or parent) helps clarify expectations; leading children toward understanding roles and responsibilities. Negotiation, a core communication skill, creates opportunities for children to develop higher level social skills and autonomous thinking.
Tr. Nikki- 以幼兒為本位,設計適齡適性的活動,讓幼兒能夠透過活動過程,培養出有禮貌、會分享、互助合作的孩子。營造一個像家的環境,在充滿愛心與耐心之下陪伴孩子成長。
Sky
Mr. Tyler- I beleive that effective classroom management relies on understanding early childhood development and creating a safe, structured environment. Consistent routines help build self-regulation and independence. I use positive reinforcement, clear expectations, and responsive systems to support each child’s individuality. By promoting intrinsic motivation and modeling good behavior, I foster pro-social skills without punitive measures. Communication, empathy, and conflict resolution are key, helping children express emotions constructively and develop social-emotional skills for future success.
Tr. Irene- 以幼兒的角度出發,透過不同的活動帶領孩子體驗生活中的大小事,從中培養其解決問題的能力,成為一個樂於探索且懂得獨立思考的孩子。
Ocean
Ms. Dionne- In my classroom, I create a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages children to try new things without fear of failure, with their efforts consistently celebrated. I believe learning should be fun and engaging, so I integrate play and hands-on activities to foster curiosity and creativity, making the process enjoyable while building their confidence and skills.
Tr. Nina- 營造做中學的學習環境,讓孩子瞭解失敗是成功的基石,培養探究和堅毅不饒的精神,也期待透過種種活動,與孩子一起教學相長。
Forest
Mr. Martin- My classroom management approach is to be inclusive, creating a good, supportive environment in which all children feel appreciated and encouraged to contribute. Children are encouraged to collaborate and develop their social and emotional skills by setting clear, consistent objectives and adding interesting activities. Encourage positive reinforcement and celebrate each child's individual strengths to foster a sense of belonging and excitement for learning.
Tr. Amanda- 透過做中學以及師生相互合作的班級環境,引導孩子們發展表達力、合作力及培養獨立思考及解決問題的能力及自信心。
River
Mr. Jon-In my classroom, I create a fun and supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. I prioritize building a positive and caring learning environment where each student is valued and encouraged to participate. I also promote students being able to complete tasks independently.
Tr. Cherry- 透過日常品格教育,養成有禮貌的行為,會尊重老師及同學;鼓勵孩子在自理方面動手操作,學習自我照顧;培養孩子互助合作及解決問題的能力。
Cloud
Mr. Michael- My Classroom philosophy is focused on equality, fairness, compassion and kindness for others. There is also a strong emphasis based on effort; trying our best and never giving up, consistently rewarding that, as well as good behaviour.
Modelling, Rule of one, and staged instructions promote these values and ideologies in the interactive and engaging lessons of Cloud's Classroom.
Tr. Anna- 尊重孩子的個別差異,營造安全快樂的學習環境,並培養孩子的生活自理、問題解決能力及重視品格教育,更透過遊戲讓孩子從中學習,促進孩子全面發展。
Winter
Mr. Bob- My classroom is a supportive environment where strong relationships are built to foster trust and positive behavior.
Communication and consistency are key, so making sure everyone is on the same page by modeling what is needed with excitement and enthusiasm fosters an atmosphere conducive to doing our best!
Tr. Fiona- 以孩子為主,營造團結合作的氣氛,鼓勵孩子重視參與的過程而非輸贏,重視品格教育並透過身教言教一致,使學生有所遵循、不圖僥倖,培養孩子生活自理、解決問題的能力。
Autumn
Mr. Jayke- I mostly prioritize independent learning and problem-solving, encouraging children to think critically and work together. I see myself as a facilitator, guiding students as they explore and learn from one another. I combine games into the lesson, where children can play against each other, helping them learn how to win and lose. Through structured routines and collaborative activities, I create an environment where children feel empowered to take charge of their learning and help each other grow.
Tr. Linda- 尊重每個孩子的獨特性,透過遊戲、探索和互動,培養他們的好奇心、自信心與社交能力,從中學習解決問題之能力,成為獨立思考的孩子。
Spring
Ms. Sarah- My classroom management is built on establishing a positive, structured environment with clear expectations and routines that allow students to thrive. I prioritize mutual respect and encourage children to self-regulate, empowering them to make responsible choices. By nurturing a strong sense of community, I ensure that every child feels safe, valued, and ready to learn.
Tr. Laura- 以孩子為中心,讓孩子適性發展,建立一個充滿信任感、關懷及成就感滿滿的班級,時時刻刻身言教合一,主動積極且知己知彼,與時俱進且綜合綜效。
Summer
Mr. Tom- In my classroom, I aim to create an environment where children can have fun while learning. I believe in setting clear expectations, following a consistent routine, and rewarding positive behavior. I treat each student the way I want my own children to be treated by their teachers.
Tr. Jessica- 以孩子為中心,營造做中學的班級環境,進而引導孩子們的自理能力、獨立思考及解決問題的能力。
