Etta Falconer affected the world in a really good way. She wanted to promote mathematics and science. Increasing the interest of African American females in thee subjects was important to her. Etta created the most successful programs in math and science. She continues to have a far-reaching impact on the world. Etta’s work inspires other students of mathematics and science.
She was the 11th African American Female to get her Ph.D. She inspired Fern Hunt ,Talitha Williams and Mark Dean. Etta's teacher Evelyn Granville is one of the first African American females to get a Ph.D.
