Kim Baldwin has over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist working with clients from a variety of racial/ethnic/national backgrounds, from children age 12 through elderly adults, individually, as couples, and in groups. She is trained as a clinical psychologist and marriage and family therapist, with over 14 years of experience specifically working with college counseling. Specialty areas include working with adults who have experienced complex trauma and working with couples. She has provided training on complex trauma to service organizations locally and internationally. Her previous career as a registered dietitian provides a unique insight into working with eating disorders as well. Working as a professor of clinical mental health for the past 12 years, including teaching, training, clinical supervision, and oversight of multiple training sites, has provided a broad range of experiences that she incorporates as she works with each client. She practices from a perspective of journeying with her clients, appreciating their individual and societal experiences as they figure out their identity, values, and beliefs in the process of healing.
