Our Mission

The WoodCreek Choral Program, established in 2008 in Katy ISD in Katy, TX,  is grounded in beautiful music making. It is comprised of 6-8 grade performing ensembles and has a proven track record of success. Our students and directors are dedicated to finding emotional connection with their audience and with each other. They are driven by our mission statement:  

WoodCreek Junior High Choir is a partnership of directors, administrators, parents, and students.  We will create a safe, positive, engaging learning environment that is devoted to empowering each student to become a productive, responsible, respectful, and kind citizen who recognizes and responds to his/her role in the choir family, the school community, and the community at large while achieving academic and musical excellence.
