Tech Equipment for Student Checkout

Due to COVID-19, the library has temporarily changed how students request technology. The district is currently updating its guidelines on how 9-12 students should request devices for use at home during quarantined periods. Once updated guidance is released we will update this page with tech request directions.

Under normal circumstances the following is process for requesting technology:

The library has Chromebooks and Hotspots available for student check out. A Student/Parent Equipment Use Agreement must be completed prior to checking out a device. Equipment Use Agreements are available in the library and must be signed by both the student and a parent or legal guardian. Once the form has been returned to the library and permission has been verified, the student may check out a Chromebook and/or other listed technology under the guidelines of our circulation policy.

For your convenience, the Student/Parent Tech Equipment Agreement is linked below. Feel free to print it, fill it out, and submit it to the library staff. Forms can also be found in the library.

Verizon Jetpack hotspots

What is a Verison Jetpack hotspot?

A jetpack provides internet connection to other devices similarly to how a smartphone or tablet can serve as a mobile hotspot. A jetpack is a separate device that lets you connect other devices to the jetpack using the device's Wi-Fi feature.
