Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA2)
MicrosoftTeams-image (8).pngThe TSI Assessment (TSIA2) is part of the Texas Success Initiative program designed to help your college or university determine if you are ready for college-level course work in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. To learn more about TSI testing, visit this Canvas page.
Students are considered exempt from the TSIA2 if they meet criteria set by the state of Texas. See exemptions below.

Register for TSI Testing - 2026-2027
Prior to taking the TSI, you are required to complete the Pre-Assessment. Follow the instructions linked here to complete the TSI pre-assessment. Then, use a link below to register for the TSI.
How to Retrieve TSI Scores
After taking the TSI, you need to send your scores to the college you will attend. Check the college's website or your applicant portal to see how they want you to submit your TSI scores. You can also retrieve your own score report by following the steps below. Your TSI testing ID will be provided on your test date; you can also look it up at https://tealprod.tea.state.tx.us/Tea.Widgets/Student.
