Military Pathways
Delayed Entry Program & Enlistment
For students wanting to go straight into the military after high school, they can either commit prior to high school graduation (DEP) or enlist after graduation (Enlistment). The process for both begins with meeting with a recruiter and taking the ASVAB, which is the military enlistment test. Recruiters visit campus during lunches and are listed below, and we offer the ASVAB once per semester, also listed below. Study before you test because your score determines eligibility and your military career options/salary!
ROTC
For students wanting to go to college before serving, there are two option: join the ROTC or attend a military academy. Lots of colleges have ROTC programs, which allows students to either test the waters before signing commitment papers or to commit with a delayed service. As an ROTC student, you will receive military training while in college, can qualify for scholarships to pay for college, and go into the military as an officer! Click the links below to find colleges with ROTC for each branch.
Military Academies
If you plan on attending a prestigious university and have the grades and ambition to do so, the military academies are excellent choices because they are highly selective, open a wide range of opportunities, and provide FREE tuition. Click below to learn more about each military academy.
