End of the Year Wrap-Up
As many of you are aware, Beck is starting a renovation process!  This summer, the plan is to renovate locker rooms, the cafeteria, and all fine arts rooms before starting on classrooms and more in the fall. Because of this, our campus closes on the last day of school until August. No one will have access to the building during these construction months. How does this affect band?

1) our entire fine arts wing will be completely gutted - furniture, instruments, music, trophies ... everything! We will be using student help on some days starting next week to move stuff that needs special handling.

2) anyone who plays an instrument provided by the school will receive an information letter (and a separate email from me) talking about how school instruments will work.

3) we will have one additional in-class performance project in class after our Spring Concert. After we finish that, all student personal instruments, binders, etc. must go home AND STAY home (no later than Friday, May 15).
