SAT & AP practice tests and other study resources are offered through Khan Academy. They have both a website and an app that you can download. They also offer other subject study guides if you need help in your core subjects!
You ONLY need to take the TSI Exam if you do not meet one of these qualifications:
SAT: Score 480 on EBRW AND Score 530 on Math
ACT: Score 40 (combined score) English section AND 22 on the Math section
If you do not meet these scores register for the TSIA:
(registration link will be updated in October 2025)
All institutions (universities, community colleges, and junior colleges) are supposed to pull the TSIA scores themselves if you don’t still have them.
They are good for 5 years after taking the exam.
Ask the institution to use the Cross-Institutional Score Report Tool
Using the Cross-Institutional Score Reports Tool:
Colleges can utilize the TSIA/Accuplacer system's Cross-Institutional Score Reports tool to access scores taken at other institutions.
This requires the student to provide their name, date of birth, and the name of the school or testing center where they took the exam.
The ASVAB Test may be used as a Career Exploration Test as well as a Military Entrance Exam.
SLHS will host ASVAB testing on November 7th and April 2nd for the 25-26 school year.
Registration links will be posted closer to the testing dates.
For more information, go to the ASVAB website.
