We train our employees in life saving skills, CPR, water rescue and first aid. One of the greatest benefits of working for us is that it won’t interfere with school and extra-curricular activities as we offer flexible schedules! Some of the pools we manage are open weekends in May and September, but most of the work will be done during the summer months.
In addition to the skills listed above, lifeguarding also teaches:

Many colleges have Natatoriums and need lifeguards so job could continue into the college career
Lifeguarding is a great first job that does not require any previous experience, we provide all training, and we hire starting at age 15! Lifeguarding is a highly responsible job; therefore, it adds to college applications and also shows the candidate can balance schoolwork with other activities.
