Support your neurodivergent teenager in approaching exams with greater confidence, clarity, and calm.
Exams can be overwhelming for neurodivergent students, not because they lack knowledge of the content, but because revision, planning, memory, anxiety, and task initiation place significant demands on executive function. This six-week programme is designed specifically for A-level students with autism and/or ADHD who are approaching exams and need practical, compassionate support that aligns with their brain, not against it.
This programme is ideal for students who:
· Feel overwhelmed or paralysed by revision
· Struggle to get started, stay focused or remember information
· Experience high levels of exam anxiety, shutdown or avoidance
· Have ASD, ADHD, or overlapping traits (diagnosed or not)
· Have access arrangements but don’t know how to use them effectively
· Are capable students whose grades don’t reflect their effort
It is suitable for:
- Year 13 students approaching final A‑level exams
- Year 12 students preparing for mocks
- Distance‑learning or self‑study students
This is not a generic study skills course.
It is a neurodivergent‑affirming executive function programme that:
· Explains why revision feels hard for Autistic/ADHD brains
· Reduces shame, panic and self‑blame
· Focuses on skills that transfer across subjects
· Balances structure with flexibility
· Prioritises emotional regulation as much as productivity
Students are never told to “just try harder”, “be more organised” or “revise like everyone else”.
· Group size: Maximum of 8 students to ensure individual attention and psychological safety
· Platform: Online (Zoom)
· Live sessions: One 60-minute session per week for six weeks
· Additional resources: Weekly video and worksheet provided
· Recordings: Available if a session is missed
· Accessibility: Designed with Autistic and ADHD needs in mind
Over six weeks, students will:
· Understand how their brain works under exam pressure
· Learn realistic planning strategies that reduce avoidance
· Develop tools to start tasks and keep going
· Use revision techniques that support memory and focus
· Manage anxiety, perfectionism and emotional overwhelm
· Feel more confident, prepared and self‑aware going into exams
This programme is a good fit if your child or student:
- Is bright but overwhelmed
- Needs structure without pressure
- Benefits from understanding why things are hard
- Wants practical tools, not lectures.
It may not be suitable for students who need subject‑specific tuition or crisis mental health support.
Cost: £150 per student for the full six-week programme (payment plan available - 2 x £75).
The small group size (maximum of 8 students) allows for calm, supportive sessions while keeping the programme more affordable.
