The works include movie poster manipulation and soda can mock-up. Both of these works were developed using photoshop. I manipulated a movie poster from scary to humorous and fun looking by changing just a few elements in it and I designed a soda can poster keeping in mind that it gives a feeling of refreshment and energy, so I choose my colours accordingly.
The can designs and flavours are inspired by famous social media apps and their logos. I used the colour themes of different apps that people use on a daily basis.
In all my works, I have tried my best to make my work look up to the mark and I learnt a lot on the way of doing them, the themes range from experimentation to personal.
I made use of photoshop to create a 'texture swap' where I interchanged the inner textures of a sapodilla with a kiwi.
The movie poster of the very well appreciated adventurous movie is self-explanatory. The cracking of the egg and the claws clenching out adds to the suspense. The further destruction which is presumed to happen in the foreseeable future is warned by the small note “did you hear” in a creepy yet straight font.
The concept of the poster was inspired by our journey to the campus in February during a pandemic. The serious expression and luggage depict us moving on campus. The second piece allowed me to explore new tools and refurbishing techniques. Executing both the pieces enabled me to practice my digital skills.

A dark, forceful illustration of a protagonist from an Indian series. The entire work of art in the series really inspired me to work upon this illustration. The mandala art in the backdrop gives mystic vibes. Furious expressions, violence, darkness in overall illustration describes the plot of the series. I balanced the frame by adding one subject and a plain background. Played with the shadows, highlights and colours to make it look animated.
Made using photoshop is the remake of the famous movie “Beauty and the Beast” into a parody name “Moody and the Feast” which is a representation of adolescent girls during their mood swings. The original poster being the rose inside a glass jar was changed into a delicious cake inside a glass jar and a hand reaching out for it representing cravings of food.
My aim was to explore the basic tools and make a character. As a tribute to actor Joaquin Phoenix's outstanding performance in the film "Joker," I've created a low poly image of the Joker. Understanding the tools and their artistic use were the major learning from this poster.
Vaporwave is a micro-genre of electronic music and visual art style that emerged in the early 2010s. The colour palette usually has a lighter base of pastel colours. I thought of this artform as a tranquil way of using calm visuals for creating a sunset. The ground is made up of continuous wavy lines showing an engaging flow.
I recreated a movie’s poster called the birds. Where it shows the silhouette of the main character so while recreating, I kept the essence of the poster intact and changed the main character with an equally mystifying silhouette of a young girl. The original poster chips in crows under the assassin showcasing the crows being scavengers to feed on the murdered bodies which is then replicated in the recreated one by putting snakes under the female assassin as they both are stealthy and swift with their kills.
I designed the letter P in the word ‘Spices’ with reference to a green chilli. “P” is the icon of the restaurant’s logo. Gotham - Medium font was used for the logo and Arizora - Regular font for the tagline. I used colour combinations that would work with the words and the theme of the logo.
This concept actually popped up in my head when going through movie poster themes on the internet, I found a pretty interesting one titled showing a baby driver, I added elements I found interesting and made it an overall fun filled poster
All the works have been created and edited with the use of Adobe Photoshop. Creative ideas have been executed digitally, which is really important in this technologically advanced world. Manipulating images and texts and editing movie poster has been show cased.
This work has been created on Adobe Illustrator with the help of basic tools.
The works have been created using Abode Photoshop and Abode Illustrator. In Image manipulation, I used various tools and came to a final outcome.. I learnt the importance of digital art and how it makes one’s life easy by understanding the human well.
The opportunity to sharpen my Photoshop skills throughout the semester benefited in my tech sketches.
Mockups in photoshop and logo design in illustrator are a very useful resource, according to me. They help you show what a product would look like in real life and also help you design a face for a product which would represent the brand to the public. As part of it, I made a couple of mockups all ranging from a magazine cover to a dairy brand logo.
This is a magazine I designed for Vogue India, it features Radhika Apte, well known for her bold, unconventional and striking characters in Bollywood movies. The cover being black and white holds a significance; black evokes sophistication and white displays innocence.

This was the first time I have worked with photoshop and I made a text art that displays the word "insight" in neon, which reflects my inner persona in the composition. The other piece of work is a magazine cover edit, which is of Vogue, I chose the appropriate picture to make the center focus of the cover.
Using Adobe Illustrator I made two digital portraits of my friends, one with a realistic approach and the other with flat illustration. I depicted the Gestalt principles using different elements of design. Lastly, I have explored the concept of masking using Salvador Dali's portrait and double exposing it with his own paintings. I made a magazine titled "bloom" and used themes that I thought would fit perfectly with the title.
While recreating a retro game I came across various tools and some shortcuts to make my work simpler. I also learned to differentiate between vector and pixel graphics. I got inspired by the old game which was my favourite and thus I chose to recreate it. While recreating, I also observed the pattern followed and elements added by the creator.
The inspiration for this magazine is derived from the magazine, "cosmopolitan"; titled, "BOLD, it explains itself along with the elements needing to fit it’s theme. The animation depicts an informed, yet ignorant man who doesn't know leaky pipes come under water schemes.
This poster parodies the movie Jaws and instead displays the scenario of world war 2; the text was manipulated in a way to say “Jews” instead of “jaws”, the colour was removed to add to the historical feel.

Playing around with Photoshop helped me with image correction and I loved the end result. Animating and working with keyframes in Photoshop was an interesting experience and taught me how to develop a story and its characterization and to bring it all alive.

The design is based on a 'disco' theme made for the festival of 'holi'. This piece is made for Bhang, a drink widely popular during holi. The background of the design is inspired by disco lights. The funky and bright colours have been used to depict an entertaining and enjoyable vibe similar to that of the festival.

In this project, the movie poster of Jagga Jasoos has been edited using Adobe Photoshop and Snapchat. The actor's face has been transformed to look baby-like and several other edits have been done to the text' like Jagga Jasoos was converted to Baccha Jasoos, UTV Motion Pictures has been converted to Baby Motion Pictures etc.
Tejas Kovale
This was my first creation on Photoshop where I learnt to play with different textures digitally. This made me realize the number of possibilities in terms of experimentation are countless. This image depicts the rivalry between two sportsmen. It is inspired by the movie Fight Club. The seriousness on each player's face shows their dedication towards the sport. Inorder to enhance the image, the players have been given headbands of complementary colours red and green.

I would say making digital art and illustrations is my favourite part, minimalism is the current niche and the poster is all about it; a completely grey scale poster with no hidden meanings, just a spotlight highlighting a microphone in the centre of the viewer’s field of vision. I personally enjoy studying and making posters that are creative yet minimal in nature.

The idea was to create something funny with the use of wordplay. The first character that came into my mind was Mr. Bean. I used a different character of Rowan Atkinson's and used Johnny English's poster as the base. Then added the iconic cars scene from Mr. Bean. To match with the scene in the poster I used the title of the film based on cars and driving.

An experience of learning software skills that helped to build a new idea. A Mango drink CAN be named Ice-slice. Choosing an accurate color and as well design and making it look aesthetically pleasing is an interesting task, using different font styles to emphasize every detail and also to analyze the technicalities of photoshop.
