The idea behind making this was to use only all natural items to make this a part of my accessory. Being someone who loves the beach environment, I chose to use shells and flowers, I find the best part is where you can add a different flower every day or even according to your liking.
For this composition I worked on, took the imagery of a wolf appearing from the mist in a very grand manner where it looks massive in comparison to the woods that it is walking in, this piece of work was the result of my inspiration from the twilight poster campaign, where the character a werewolf, looked bigger than everything around him showing power, fierceness and bravery.
My compositions include word typography, as in, making them more expressive and using aspects of the word itself to express what it means visually. We also composed a segment of a newspaper that talked about ISRO’s Mangalyaan mission. This was a very fun experience for me.
I made a form using Plaster of Paris (PoP) by molding it in a plastic water bottle; this gave the form grooves on its surface, which in turn I had smoothened out to give a more polished look. I loved seeing the way PoP interacted with the mold that I had used.
I have made two solid forms, one being in relation of how material like PoP interacts with a hollow space and a prototype involving a calendar that is in the shape of a dodecahedron an object that has 12 pentagonal faces and observation photography that involves observing an object from almost every angle possible to understand its workings.

My works range from making moulds of objects that anyone can get and natural items and ideating everyday objects in a more modern twist, I found the works to be a sign of how much I have improved compared to before when I was first introduced such materials, this was definitely a very free experience where I didn’t feel constrained at all.

I loved working on these compositions, it was a really great experience for me, the themes ranged from remaking brand logos, making posters that talk about mental health, social commentary on the pandemic, branding for products and the art world.

Being a foodie, my main inspiration for this logo was food itself, especially donuts, so, I decided to compose the logo of the brand Mad over Donuts. I used Photoshop to compose the logo and have the colour scheme the original logo uses since it gives a very warm and welcoming feeling.

I have created a custom logo that centres around the letter ‘B’, by using depth and shadows, I have given the logo a very intense 3D look and the effect that it is hovering above the surface it Is on. The logo itself I went around the concept of giving it a very modern look and gave it a shiny pastel colour to fit it.

The poster I made is originally from the red riding hood movie which I changed into a poster for the Jadu movie, leaving the mysterious background to not hinder the theme, I changed the phrases to match the plot of jadu. I composed an image that shows an imaginary-scape with magical themes and I made a magazine cover like image with a harsh colour and a peaceful background to contrast it.
Tanmay Shelar
My compositions include abstract and derived work, the abstract ones being a hole in a wall which depicts the unseen beauty of the outside world that we don’t see while being indoors the whole, another being an astronaut lost in the cold, dark void of space and seeing the warmth and happy environment on Earth and an animation inspired by 'the last airbender' that shows the control over one of nature's elements.

I took upon recreating the John Wick poster in a very amusing twist by replacing Keanu Reeves’ face with Mr Bean’s face, I had to colour correct and adjust the image a bit to fit the exact features in the poster. I also made a text art in the theme of New York which is a form of dedication as it is a dream of mine to live there; I made use of different hotspots to show the image of New York.

When making this letter composition, after brainstorming about what colour palette would suit it the best, I chose the colour scheme of the Pride flag that represents the LGBTQIA+ community. It goes from a very intense black colour to a very calm and welcoming blue in the background.

This was a piece of work that I found a fun experience to work on, I have always liked working with softwares and I had gotten the idea to turn a really serious poster into something that I found pretty amusing, I used the image of deadpool and placed it on top of Keanu Reeves’ face, deadpool being a very cynical and sarcastic character that is comedic in nature and ‘john wick’ bring serious and the total opposite in nature.

Being more environmentally conscious, I had designed a concept that involves Amul Kesar in a can container which is better compared to the normal plastic bottles that are always and mostly never disposed of correctly.

My work ranges from replicating the Adidas and Gucci logo, image manipulation and recreating a poster in a way I find amusing. I wasn’t the most confident coming to softwares before doing these works, but I soon gained confidence in myself to do a good job relating to them, this was a new, exciting and insightful experience for me.

I took the 11th target of the united nations which targeted sustainable cities and settlements, in this case I had done micro research on my city, Surat which has been labelled the smart city, I went into how it excels in areas and I also stated areas in which I lacked and in the end provided the suggestion of a product that would help overcome its shortcomings.

This is a collective of the types of furniture that is used for only one posture of sitting, where the seated person, is not fully free to change their position when on the chair, recliner or sofa or can only modify posture partially. The sketches show the diversity in the process of designing and how seemingly the “same” idea has so many ways to be modified.

I had taken up a project that focused on the 11th goal of the United Nations and further focused on the goal of the target being,”providing safe access for public transport and improving infrastructural safety for women, children, the aged and disabled people” I targeted the aspect of providing safer environments for disabled people and I made posters for campaigns to spread awareness.

Inspired by the water droplets that form on the leaf, I made this piece with nylon macramé threads in blue and green to represent the colours that are present in these two elements. The white beads used were the glimmer that the water gives off when light is shone on it.

With this project I took upon, I had taken the target focus of target 11 which the united nations implemented, being sustainable cities and communities, in which I had done extensive research on how plastic is harmful and its adverse effects on the environments and providing alternatives to it that could help prevent the environment going through any more damage.
