Doxy.me - Karin's Waiting Room
Above is the link to my virtual waiting room. I primarily use doxy.me as my HIPPA compliant telehealth platform. You will not be getting a meeting invite from me each time, please use the same link each time. This link drops you into my virtual waiting room and you can go there anytime. I only get notified that you are in my waiting room if I am also signed in.
Feel free to go there sometime prior to your first appointment to do the pre-call test to make sure everything is working on your end. You need a strong internet connection, a phone or a newer computer with webcam and microphone, and a quiet private place with good lighting. Please avoid back-lit situations.
If possible, please use Chrome browser, particularly if you are using an apple product. Doxy sometimes has difficulty with Firefox or Safari due to microphone connection/permission issues. It can work, but it sometimes takes clients 5-10 minutes to figure out how to give doxy permission to use the microphone and/or camera on their device. This can usually be avoided if you use Chrome.
My back-up telehealth platform is Google Meet. Please let me know if you would prefer to use Google Meet for our meetings.
