Based on my extensive experience as a manager, I build UX teams, establish design processes and create user-centric operating strategies for international organizations. Creating recruitment profiles, figuring out where UX Design and Research fit in a product cycle, and establishing day to day rules and rituals for daily UX work can be daunting - this is where I come in. I'm available for short and long term engagements in Europe (mainly Germany and Poland) and other parts of the world.

In a user-centric approach, the people using your product are in the center of attention. While you can gleam a part of the insights passively, through quantitative analysis, it truly is qualitative research that taps into your users' wants, needs and behaviors. Choosing the right methodology can be a challenge - something I'll gladly help you with. Conducting the research is something else entirely. With the help of moderators, analysts and aided by great software and facilities, I'm able to facilitate all your user experience research needs. Not sure what you need? Get in touch!
Remote unmoderated user tests - the cheapest and fasted research method, great for project early in their development cycle. We'll recruit users that reflect your user base (or directly reach into your user base, if you have the capability), and send them tasks and questions to perform at their leisure. These sessions are recorded through an online platform and analyzed for results.
Remote moderated user test - slightly more advanced testing method utilizes a moderator that asks questions and monitors users' task performance, intervening and making sure the right questions are answered. As with the unmoderated test methodology, the whole test happens remotely, on the users device or computer.
Moderated laboratory user test - with carefully recruited users, these interviews take place in a specialized laboratory, where you can directly observe and participate. Users perform tasks under a moderator's supervision, with multiple cameras recording the desktop or device, users' faces and body language and eye-tracking.
In-depth interviews - sometimes the interface is not the focus, and you want to find out more about your users. An in-depth interview relies on detailed recruitment and carefully structured interviews in a laboratory setting. A moderator ensures that the right questions are asked and the conversation doesn't stray off the topic.
Qualitative contextual surveying - by targeting very particular users in concrete points of a given process flow, detailed questions can be asked about the experiences and needs of a person in that particular moment. Planning these surveys can be challenging and needs to be coordinated with developers and analysts - by working with experienced UX researchers and managers, you'll get the best insights about particular steps in your processes.
Quantitative surveying - a classic staple of market research, quantitative surveying delivers high level knowledge about particular groups of people and businesses. With a high cost, this methodology benefits from expert knowledge in your corner. As both a UX-er and a sociologist, I'll help you in not overpaying and getting results that will benefit your organization.
NPS, or Net Promoter Score, is a methodology both overused and misunderstood by product owners and marketing specialists. While initial easy to set up and understand, NPS is actually a robust and complicated methodology. If someone tells you that NPS will satisfy your research needs, run - they have no idea what they're talking about. In order to get a real picture of your users' needs, you need to user a set of methodologies and be sure that they're implemented properly. Get in touch, and I'll help you to figure out if your research so far is actually telling you what you need and how you can improve.
