We are thrilled to celebrate Earth Day at Kanakia International School on 22 April 2024. Our learners embarked on an exciting journey to honour our beautiful planet and learn about the importance of taking care of Mother Earth.
Earth day is a reminder of the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability, encouraging us to come together and action for a healthier planet and brighter future.
Our young learners of Early years 1 went for a nature walk adventure and Clean up drive. The learners had to clean the litter around the school playground and premises. With zest and zeal , the enthusiastic learners steered the cleanup drive . The learners were embarked on a nature walk around our school grounds, exploring the wonders of nature firsthand. Observing & examining different types of plants, flowers, leaves our kindergarteners deepen their connection with the natural world.Â
Our Early years 2 learners engaged in a hands-on activity of preparing newspaper garlands. Through enchanting Earth Day stories and their importance and creative crafts, this will inspire our young minds to become Earth's stewards.Â
Our Early years 3 learners were focusing on on the three 'R's. Our kindergarteners learned the importance of reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling, and prepared seed bombs. Through teamwork and enthusiasm, they discovered how small actions can make a big impact on our planet. A simple Earth Day pledge was taken by the learners going to each class to show the care of the planet Earth.
Wishing everyone a joyful Earth Day filled with appreciation for the wonders of nature and a determination to preserve them.
