Hands on Fun with Colored Pasta and Dominoes
Having a firm grasp on what numbers look like, what they stand for, and how we use them in the real world is the foundation for building a strong number sense and a lifetime of mathematical learning. Learners need a lot of practice counting, writing, manipulating, and thinking about numbers. To ensure our learners spend their time mind and energy on something fun-filled, we switch it up to play, so our keen learners are ecstatic to learn to count numbers 1-50.
Counting with Dominoes is a great learning resource and an excellent manipulative for developing number sense and reinforcing counting math skills, working on eye and hand coordination.
Another fun based activity where in the learners were counting colored pasta and threading which help them to enhance their eye-hand coordination, practice counting, sorting and learning about patterns.
Learning, sequencing, playing, The fun we have in school.

Let's draw and count
Applying counting skills to real life with a fun drawing activity.
This delightful interactive fun activity in which one group of learners had to discover and create drawings representing any numbers from 1 - 20 and the other group of learners had to count and write the correct number. This is a great way to our enthusiastic learners thinking creatively about math.
Team learning isn't it fun !!

Sticking the CK Spelling rules.
Learners have a kind of instinct, a special sensibility, which urges them to acquire and absorb new words.
Learning spelling rules is essential for kids to develop strong reading and writing skills. Knowing when to use c and k and when to use ck or k for the sound of /k/ can be extremely tricky in the beginning for our little learners. Teaching these two rules early on allows learners to expand their spelling abilities. Knowing that there is a rule that they can follow, gives them confidence and makes spelling easier. Providing them with hands-on activities will help our students learn the rules and internalize them so they can apply them to new words.
