Letter Rr
Developing letter recognition skills is essential for early childhood literacy development. Children’s knowledge of letter names, shapes, and sounds sets them up for success as they learn to read and write. Practicing letter recognition on a daily basis makes it easy for the little learners to learn more about that letter like the pattern, and sound. The learners used OHP sheets to model the formation of the letter Rr with clay. This helped them to independently understand the formation of the letter Rr while exploring the different colors and choosing the same.

MATH
Colorful Squares
Squares and rectangle shapes represent stability. As squares have straight lines and right angles, they have a very mathematical and balanced feel. These shapes scream rationale, practicality, and conformity. As far as shapes go, these are neither flashy nor attention seekers. However, clever designers may twist or turn them to add interest to a design. The learners were excited to color the square-shaped cut out with multiple squares being made. They were elated to choose their favorite colors, fill these squares, and count the number of boxes independently!!

THEME
A day at a farm!!
Learning about farm animals can provide a huge benefit in teaching young kids about farms. It can aid their learning and development in plenty of ways. When we’re teaching about farms, animals, and the sounds they make, we’re also helping kids learn and master their language, phonics, and ability to remember names and associate them with correct animals. The Nursery learners experienced a day at a farm indulging themselves in a lot of fun activities like shearing the sheep, milking the cow, feeding the pig, etc. Learners were engrossed while doing the activities and had a hands-on experience with the different farm animals.

Drip Drop with Inky
Ink Drip painting is super easy and a great way to learn about mixing of colours while making some interesting artwork. Learners’ experiment with ink on paper allowed them to explore and create freely as they gained cognitive, linguistic, and fine-motor skills.
